We’re talking about it in my
Quantum Physics class and we’re talking about it my writer’s circles. We’re
talking about it scientifically and we’re talking about it creatively and
spiritually. Because, whether it resonates with you or not, at our very most atomic
level, we are exactly the same as everything else. Everything else in the
UNIVERSE. It brings that “we are one” mantra to a kind of whole other level,
doesn’t it?
Here is a beautiful video by
Max Schlickenmeyer that illustrates one such answer from astrophysicist Neil
DeGrasse Tyson in a Time Magazine interview.
WAAAHAAAHAAW !!! I KNEW IT !!! We are all one....This is unbelievable !!! As I ALWAYS SAY...We are made of energy....and so is EVERYTHING ELSE !!!!
ReplyDeletePS...IDK about you but the song that played in the end really resonated within me...so if anyone loved it too.....

Oh, I so love Neil deGrasse Tyson. I'm currently reading his latest book, and it's very interesting. He is so passionate and articulate. It's not often, in my experience, to hear such science presented in an accessible way. I feel he doesn't talk down to me, but he's having a conversation with me. He cares about astrophysics. He is an advocate for space, and cares about the message.
ReplyDeleteHe touches on this in his book, Space Chronicles: Facing the Ultimate Frontier. Aaah. :)
Thanks for this, Jo! I am going to check it out.
DeleteAww...we are all made of stars. That's such a beautiful image! :D
ReplyDeleteOh man! That was a great vid. I wish it wasn't so cold (or windy and cloudy) outside so I could go star gazing.
ReplyDeleteHey Kasku, welcome!! Isn't star-gazing the most wonderful thing???
DeleteHi Barb, thanks for sharing this. I too have been reading everything I can get my hands on concerning quantum physics. It just seems to make so much sense! If you have a chance, check out Bruce Lipton and Gregg Braden - had a few aha! Moments with them! Can't wait to see you so we can discuss this! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteJosee!! I am so so excited that you're into this. We so have to talk about it. I will check out these guys and then we have to make a chat-date. Have you read The Dancing Wu Li Masters yet? It's an older one, but extremely well thought out. Miss you!! xoxo
DeleteI love that man. He makes space and science so much fun.
ReplyDeleteWe are all connected and I find that can be both comforting and troubling, but always amazing. I'm glad you shared this, Barbara!
ReplyDeleteMy computer is laughing about trying to load the video. It just can't handle it.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of all being connected together, that we are all part of the same thing, is a wonderful one. I So wish a lot more people believed this.
Thank you ladies for sharing, you've done it again!
