Blogging Out Loud: Voicing The Bairn

Deb and Barbara: When we were taping our Blogging Out Loud series, we had a little fun. We decided to post this one today for a few reasons. Deb is in the Yukon! (yes, story to follow), and Barbara is getting ready to visit her daughter in Paris! (yes, Paris Diaries next week). We hope you enjoy our silliness as much as we did. If you want to know how much fun we had, just watch the last 20 seconds … of non-stop laughing…

  4. Hilarious, love it! Me and my husband tend to have random converstaions with the dog and respond in "his voice". Glad to see we aren't the only ones so silly with their pets!

  8. ADORABLE!! Though I have to say...I've been sniffing bums for YEARS and I've still not mastered The Bairn's positive outlook on life. Maybe thisd particular trick only works for dogs? Oh well, I'll keep trying ;-)

  12. That is so funny. I would love to have a pet, but there are too many allergic people in the relatives. I rather have them come visit me. Bah, Deb your dog is just so darn cute! I'm getting a puppy fever.

  14. LOL This was great!
If I have to start my day by sniffing someone's bum, at least I'll know that's the worst my day is gonna get!

Credit to Luke for holding the camera steady. Either it was hysterical and he held it in well, or he knew what Bairn was going to say anyway. Prep is key to an interview.

  15. Oh my. That is priceless! :)

I thought I was the only one who did that to their poor pets. :)

Odin, Snoopy the Cat and I tend to have conversations - I'm voicing Snoopy's replies. Sometimes I "receive messages" from Snoopy for Odin to do something (like eat a new food or something along those lines), and it has worked for me in the past. :)

And, Odin tends to view the cats as his siblings because he doesn't have any. :)

Lovely way to perk up an election evening ... :)
