Holiday Memories

Deb and Barbara: We thought for the next couple of days we would share our holiday pix. Here are a few of our favourite moments from the last couple of weeks.

Today is our turn, but, if you're game, we'd love to post your pix tomorrow. They don't have to be holiday photos, but anything meaningful to you (like, say, a new tattoo or a pregnant belly...). If we get a lot of photos, we'll post one or two each. If we only get a few, we might post more (i.e., let us know which ones are key for you). The other proviso is that for us to post them, you'll need to email the jpgs to Barbara at radeckirites (at) gmail (dot) com. If we don't get any photos (or if we can't get them to post for whatever reason), expect this post to stay up until Monday morning!

So, now for photos from Deb's house!

And here are a few from Barbara's!

Stefanie's boyfriend gave her a Star Wars Lego advent calendar. Watching her open the doors each day and assemble the little treasures was one of the fun highlights on the days leading up to the Eve.

Phil shucked 48 oysters on Christmas Eve!

On our New Year's trip, my brother-in-law's dog shows his serious crush on Phil!

    1. We wanted a bit of levity in there, Mary! And, yes, wouldn't be holidays without the pets around.

  4. I love the dressed up pics - I was kind of wanting to have our family dress nice even though we were just staying home. I love the personality in your son - with the hat. I really love pictures of the older people as I have come to really cherish them in my life. Thanks for sharing - what a great idea!

    1. We didn't take any pictures this year. Or for the past few years, I think. I'm tired of taking pictures of my mother's palm as she blocks her face. :P

    2. It could be something else, Dawn, if you want to share (as you'll see, not every shot is holiday-oriented!)

    1. Hey Linda, your photos haven't come through yet. Is there a problem with the address? It's a tricky (unconventional) spelling, so check that. there are no spaces and it an @ and a . after the radeckirites.
Let me know if you have any more problems, would love to post yours!

  18. Awww..those pics are so awesome. I wished we would dress up, and take some really nice pictures, but the only picture I took shows the christmas tree. Nobody seems to really care about celebrating christmas...don't know that is. :(

    Makes me sad, though.

  19. Argh, I had written something down already and then I had to do some work stuff. Of course I hadn't yet posted it and then I forgot all about it... You can guess that I did something and lost all the text I had written. Oh well, it was something about how lovely the pictures are. Also that I really want to have a dog of my own, now when I see pics of the dogs. :)
