Barbara: Since we were
talking dreams yesterday—and we can keep it up, so keep posting comments over
there—I thought it might be fun (and funny) to go the other way today and be
literally literal. This made me laugh out loud.
That's a good one. I hadn't seen it before, but the Total Eclipse of the Heart one is hysterical. There is a Pat Benatar, too, that is funny. I love using literal interpretation for humor.
LOL....Great post Barb....Perfect !!...This sounds like one of my dreams......One moment I'm in the middle of "Central Perk" chatting with Chandler, Ross and Joey about finding a "Phoebe" for our group...next moment I'm standing at the altar marrying George Clooney !! I'd call it too weird but.....But you KNOW me very well...so that ship has sailed :P :D xoxo
I made the "mistake" one time of showing Odin these literal videos. I didn't hear anything but them for a few weeks, and being asked many questions about them...
If anyone is interested in the combination of modern music with history lessons, check this out - Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" about the French Revolution...
Horse Montage and WHAT THE HELL cracked me up. Pretty scarrrrrrrrrrrrrfffffff. ffff. ;) Hilarious. Thanks.
I didn't get around to responding to yesterdays post about dreams. All of my dreams are wack-a-doodles. They are long, in color, and I feel things in them, which can be good OR bad. This morning I dreamed an owl flew over to me and was flying very quickly, without using his wings, and when he reached me he stopped in mid air to let me pet him. It's like he was a Harrier, flying in one place. He would only let ME pet him. Then I left and took a wrong turn down a road which was under construction. It was made of fresh un-smooshed asphalt and went deep under some sort of bridge. I got to the bottom of it and got out of my car. The fresh tar smell was choking me a bit at first but I got used to it. I reached down and picked up a handful of the warm, crumbly, asphalt. As I was enjoying the warmth and texture of it in my hand I heard a noise and looked up to see a small crowd of large people walking down the other side, gazing down at me in anger. I threw down the asphalt and tried running up the road the way I had come, sans car, but the asphalt kept making me slip back down. My phone rang and woke me up so I have no idea how it was going to end. It sounds scary but those kinds of dreams generally don't bother me anymore. I've learned a bit about "Lucid Dreaming" and can control my dreams to a certain degree. More later, ladies. I'm off to go get some pizza and watch some more literal videos lol :) Hugs and Haha ha's, Karen
